Weekend Recap+Father's Day

Good Monday morning loves! How was your weekend? I hope it was great for all of you! And, Happy Belated Father's Day to all you baby daddys out there! I hope you day was special for you.

I LOVE this picture. It was taken at our engagement party in 2010. All of our dads in one picture, a rare moment! We sure are lucky to have so many wonderful men in our lives!

The Slaters had another wonderful weekend. My, how I love summer!

Saturday was a bit chilly for the pool or water park, so we ventured off to a local farm to pick some strawberries! T absolutely loves strawberries, and I had a feeling she would love picking them as well. (Picking AND eating them, which she did!) And, would you believe my husband had NEVER picked strawberries before? I know, he hadn't lived until Saturday. I used to look forward to going strawberry picking every year when I was little. Of course, like T, I ate more than I picked, and usually went home with a red mouth and even redder hands. But, isn't that the fun part? We had an absolute blast, and we will definitely make another trip before the summer is over!

After we filled our quarts, we headed to lunch at Quaker Steak and Lube, one of our favorites!

We were so tired that evening, we just relaxed with popcorn and a movie. Had to rest up for a big day on Sunday. :o)

I was so happy with the way our Father's Day craft turned out!

Helping daddy open cards and posing with special stickers!

It was a beautiful day out, so we headed to the pool with a bunch of friends to celebrate all of our dads. We started this tradition last year, and I was so glad we could do it again this year!

All the kiddos in 2013

We missed a few this weekend, but it was still a great time!

We wrapped Sunday night up with dinner at home. and snuggles on the couch.

A perfect ending to another perfect weekend.

Life Lately

This past weekend was one of those weekends that I didn't want to end. Yet, here is it, Friday already, and another weekend is almost upon us! Hopefully, this one will be as fun as the last one!

But first, I have to give a shout out to a special little boy! On Wednesday, we celebrated Colin's 3rd Birthday with a Spiderman pizza party! Perfect way to spend hump day!

We kicked off the weekend with National Donut Day last Friday! I told T she could pick out 2 donuts at the bakery, and what does she go for? The sprinkled-covered star and the bright green, blue, and red iced-snake. Needless to say, we had quite the mess, but we sure had a fun and yummy snack!

We spent the evening at home making pizzas for dinner, and Jamy, the girls and Baby Easton came over. The girls played outside all night, and everyone was exhausted come bedtime. Even Mr. Crew!

Saturday was beautiful so we headed to the beach with our friends, Josh, Brynn, and Colin. The kids played in the sand, spent a little time in the water (brrrrr!), and ate lot's of snacks.

After the kiddos were worn out and we all worked up an appetite, we went to one of our favorite restaurants on the water for lunch. I have to admit, I kind of felt like a tourist in my own town!

That evening, after a quick nap and shower, we headed to Jared and Sarah's to celebrate one inspirational lady. I felt so honored and blessed to be part of such a fun and amazing night. This is truly one special woman with the best family! We love you Sharon!

Thanks Jillian for the pics! Such a fun time!

Sunday, we spent the morning eating breakfast and running errands, then spent the afternoon at Dawn and Drew's house celebrating Baby Dempsey's Baptism. It was a fun filled afternoon with lot's of delicious food and the best company.

Needless to say, we all slept good Sunday evening!

Happy Friday everyone, enjoy your weekend!
