Pressed Cotton

We've been married for almost two and a half years, and I thought when I was planning our wedding that there were so many wonderful resources out there for brides to use for inspiration. I know, myself, I was addicted to The Knot. Boy, was I wrong! These days, there is so much more. Perfect example, Pinterest. I am constantly thinking to myself as I browse all the gorgeous wedding Pins, "where was Pinterest when we got married?!" Of course, it's probably a good thing it wasn't around... honestly. I have a lot more fun shoe shopping for Tinley and looking at kitchen remodels these days anyway.

There's another website that has just recently launched for those brides-to-be, and I'm DYING to share it with you. It's called Pressed Cotton. Here's the link. http://pressedcotton.com/ You can check them out on Facebook too. https://www.facebook.com/PressedCotton?fref=ts It is amazing. Well worth your time. I promise. Our well-known wedding photographer, Millie Holloman, along with several other designers and artists from the Wilmington, NC area have teamed up to bring girls, whether they be brides planning a wedding, someone who just bought a house, or someone who just loves to host swanky soirees, the cutest decor and paper products. It's very southern inspired, which I love, and is really popular these days. They were even just featured on the popular Style Me Pretty Blog (Another site I was addicted to when planning our own wedding!) http://www.stylemepretty.com/2013/01/17/pressed-cotton-shoot-from-millie-holloman-jennifer-rose-brent-holloman/ and they just launched the site a little over a month ago. They're doing big things, and I love it! (Like I said before, it's probably a good thing this wasn't around when I was planning our wedding either!)  So, I hope you check out the site, and maybe get a few ideas! I promise, you'll be just as obsessed as I am! For now, I'll leave you with some of my favorite images Millie, and her assistant, Rachel, captured during our wedding day. Enjoy!

I told you. Amazing, right?! You can check out her photography site here:

If you're planning a wedding, engagement, maternity photos, whatever, and you're in the NC area, (even if you're not! She traveled to Ohio for our wedding, and made everything so easy and stree-free!) I'd definitely recommend Millie! She's absolutely the BEST, and is so fun to work with! I think that's a really good and important quality for a photographer.
