Snow Day Crafting

Yesterday, we had another winter storm and were stuck inside the house all day on a Level 3 Snow Emergency. (For those of you not from Ohio and unfamiliar with levels, a Level 3 means you are not allowed to be on the roads, and they will ticket you if you are!) And trust me, you wouldn't have wanted to be out yesterday. It was literally a blizzard and there were wrecks everywhere. There was even a fatal 50 car pile-up on the highway! So sad, and my thoughts go out to all of those involved. The pictures are just horrific.

So, needless to say, we spent the day inside. Justin is able to work from home, so he spent some time working. We also got little man's closet painted, our closet re-organized (we had to combine closets because I was previously using our entire mater walk-in closet myself!), and I got a lot of baby's clothes washed. Little man has quite the wardrobe already, I must say. It's so strange seeing so much blue and green, but I'm enjoying the change!

And, T and I did a little St. Patty's Day crafting! I found this via Pinterest, and thought it looked easy enough for a toddler. So, I busted out the green paint and we gave it a shot. I think she preferred her own design, but we did manage to get 2 good ones done to send to grandparents.

I'm happy with the way they turned out, but what was even more rewarding was seeing how much fun she had! I guess sometimes being stuck inside and having to resort to finger painting is worth it!
