Well, I can't believe this day has come; today is my 100th blog post! I started blogging back in December just as an outlet for me while staying at home with Tinley, and I have to admit... I've really started to love this little blog of mine. And my sweet blogging friends. I feel like I know some of you personally! Everyone is so nice and helpful within this blogging community, and I woud've never kept this up without all your thoughtful comments and feedback. So, THANK YOU!
And now time for another weekend update!
Friday, T and I spent a great afternoon at Soak City. We had fun playing in the sand for a while, until the sun finally decided to come out. Then, we got hot, so we played in the water for a bit, before having lunch and heading home. That evening, we just relaxed and grilled out at home.
Saturday morning, we were up bright and early to head to Avon, about a half hour away, to pick up my new car, a 2013 GMC Acadia! She's a beauty, and I am so, so excited! I can't thank my wonderful husband enough! He is the BEST.
That evening, Justin and I had a wedding to attend, so we took Tinley to the Lowe's for a slumber party. I know she had a great time!
Here's a few pics from the wedding, courtesy of my iPhone. It was inside a wine cellar, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Congrats to Mike and Misty!
Sunday, we did the grocery shopping/cleaning thing that everyone seems to do on a Sunday, and had a cookout with the Lowe's that evening. It was filled with laughter, yummy food, and of course, lot's of outside playtime!
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend, that seemed to go by way too fast. But then again, don't they all? I know I'm looking forward to this short week, and spending lot's of time with friends and family!
How was your weekend?
Love your new car!! I've been looking at the Acadia, I have a Land Rover LR2 right now but I want something a little bigger :) Do you find the Acadia roomy enough?

Thank you so much! I LOVE IT! I love the fact that it has the 3rd row, and captain's seats in the 2nd row, so it's easy to get to the 3rd row. And when all the seats fold down, there's TONS of room. I would definitely recommend it!
DeleteCongrats on the new car - it's very purdy.
ReplyDeleteAlso, nice photos from the wedding (/good job being a good blogger...We went to a wedding this weekend, too and I only took 5 photos haha)
Cheers,
