Halloween is right around the corner, and I've been thinking a lot about T's costume. I am really looking forward to this year, because last year, she was still small and wasn't walking. We still had fun though, but I know this year will only be better!
Last year, she had 2 costumes. One for Cedar Point's Trick-or-Treat, and one for actual Halloween. I wanted to make sure she was warm enough for both, which can be difficult with some of the costumes, so that was something I had to keep in mind when shopping around and getting ideas. It is chilly here on October 31st! Here are some pics from last year:
Cedar Point's Trick-or-Treat: Minnie Mouse
Halloween: Cupcake
I can't get over how little and different she looks!
Olivia the Pig
An Oompa Loompa! This was hub's pick because Willie Wonka is his all-time favorite movie.
A giraffe. After all, she loved the giraffes at the zoo!
A butterfly. I just thought this was cute!
Little Old Lady. This was another hit but would've been too hard. She would've never lasted with that walker!
So, we finally narrowed it down, and our pick for Tinley is:
TWINK! From Rainbow Bright. For those of you that aren't 80's kids, this is Twink:
Isn't he cute?
This was my inspiration. My step-mom is very crafty, so she's making it for us, and I can't wait to see how it turns out. She used to make me costumes all the time, so I have no doubts it will be adorable! I'm going to try to pull off Rainbow Bright, but it might be a little too cold for that. I'll let you guys know how that goes! I can't wait for Halloween!
What are you dressing your little monsters up as?
