The holidays are so much fun with having a little one to dress up! Here's a look at just a few of Tinley's Christmas outfits she sported...

NYE Outfits

So normally this time of year, I'm busy shopping online and thinking about my NYE outfit. However, seeing as that I'm expecting again this year, I think heels and sequins are out of the questions. Now don't get me wrong, I ain't scarred to rock a fab outfit while preggo (I wore a dress with leggings and knee-high boots a few years ago while I was almost 9 months pregnant with T, and was up WAY past mid-night, might I add!) but we don't really have any big plans this year anyway. Just dinner with a group of friends and then possibly to a friend's house party for a little bit. We lucked out and got a baby sitter (would YOU want to babysit 6 kids, all under the age of 10?), so we figured we had to take advantage while we can! So, nothing too crazy planned this year, however, I am still looking forward to it, and do plan to look cute. Just not over the top.

But, if you do have swanky evening plans, know that A- I'm jealous! And B- Any of these outfits would be perfect! Make sure to take pictures and have a glass (or 2) of champagne for me! Happy New Year's!

Can you believe Christmas has come and gone? I know I sure can't! It seems like you prepare the entire month, and it's all over before you can even blink. It's sort of sad in a way, but then again, I was happy to get my house cleaned up and life back to normal! (Or at least, somewhat!)

{ONE}

 

 Tinley is at such a fun age, and although she still didn't quite get the whole Santa/Ho Ho thing this year, it sure was fun watching her rip open presents and get excited about her gifts. We celebrated pretty much all month long with visits with our parents and family, and I have to admit, it felt kind of strange to not have anyone else at our house Christmas morning. But, it was still a wonderful Christmas with the hubs and our baby girl. We are truly blessed!

 
 

 

{TWO}

 

How adorable are these cookies? They were made for all the little girls in our family for our Christmas celebration at Justin's uncle's house. We still have Tinley's on our counter; I refuse to let her eat it!

 

 

 

{THREE}

 

Okay, you know you're getting old when you get excited about a new vacuum, but y'all, this one is amaze! It's the Dyson Ball Animal, and although I've only used it once so far, I am in love! Did I mention it's purple?!

 

 

 

{FOUR}

 

This is by far my favorite gift Justin got me this year... two large framed prints of two of my favorite pictures from our family session we had in November. We hung the black and white one of Tinley in her room above her dresser, and I absolutely LOVE it! I still can't decide where I want to hang the other one, but I know I want it somewhere where everyone can see it when they come to our house!

 

 

 

{FIVE}

 

I get these L'OCCITANE  products in my stocking every year and always look forward to it! They are the best and if you've never tried their stuff, I highly recommend it! I'm obsessed with their new lavender hand cream and it's perfect for dry winter skin. Their lip balm is fab too! Totally worth the money.

Tinley's Turning 2... crap!

Last year by this time, I had Tinley's First Birthday party all planned out. Invitations: Check. 1- Year Pictures: Check. Venue and Food: Check. Photographer: Check. Cupcakes/Smash Cake: Check. Birthday Dress: Check. Decor: Check. You might could say I went a teensy, weensy bit overboard, but hey, she only turned 1 once right?!

This year, with the holidays, baby #2 on the way, our upcoming home renovations to prepare for said baby #2, the fact that my go-to designer friend is due with a baby boy any day, and just the hustle and bustle of life, I've been slacking in the party planning department. A little over a month away and I haven't ordered invites or scheduled her 2-year pics... what am I thinking?!

I finally was able to sit down and peruse Pinterest for some inspiration. I decided this year to go with a Minnie Mouse theme since it seems to be her favorite right now. That, and the fact that it's fairly common; something I'm not normally a fan of, but when push comes to shove, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, make it seem like it would be best and easy to carry out.

I found a lot of cute ideas, and am thinking I'm going to need to take out some stock out in Etsy! I think I have all the basics covered, and even got some good ideas for food. This year, we're going small with just our close family and friends, and of course, T's buddies. I know it will all come together and turn out fabulous!

Now, back to brainstorming.... ideas are welcome! :o)

I can't believe this day has finally arrived. It seems like it was just Thanksgiving, probably because it was... I hope you all enjoy it with your loved ones, and soak up every minute! I know I will.

Build-A-Bear

Over Thanksgiving vacation, Tinley took a visit to Build-A-Bear with Mamaw to build Frosty the Snowman. She was a little hesitant at first, but loosened up at the end. Her favorite part was kissing the little red heart and putting it in her pocket. She carried that thing around with her the rest of the day! 

 

 I know this will be a fun tradition we can do each year and the older she gets, the more enjoyable it will be for us all!

Tinley's Christmas List

 

Tinley has been to visit Santa twice, and I'm hoping he got all this, because her list is pretty long! But, she has been a very good girl this year. And don't worry Santa, I'm sure the grandparents will help you out!
