Tinley's First Cedar Point Visit!

One of the best things about living in Sandusky, Ohio is Cedar Point! Of course, as locals, we complain about all the tourists and the non-stop traffic from May-September, but I guess I'm just used to that, seeing as how I grew up in a tourist town also. For those of you that aren't familiar with Cedar Point, it's the largest amusement park in the US, and one of the largest in the world. It's pretty awesome! And, it's right in our backyard. We got season passes this year so we can take T whenever we want. They also have a water park that we can use our passes at, and I CAN NOT WAIT to take her there. She absolutely loves the water, so I know she will love Soak City. If it would only warm up...

Anyway, Justin and I took Tinley to Cedar Point a few weeks ago for the first time, and she was hilarious! She loved looking at all the rides, all the people, all the games; she loved it all! And the girl even had a corn dog! She gets her love of food honest, especially fried, fair food! Isn't it the best? We didn't ride much, but we did have a great time, and can't wait to take her again!

It was a gorgeous night to visit the park! This is the new entrance and the new coaster, Gatekeeper!

Eating her corn dog and taking it all in!

Visiting Snoopyland

Let's go there next Dada! (Check out that corn dog gut!)

The entrance to the new coaster provides a great view of the beach!

Riding the carousel

She really enjoyed the water boats!

Someone did NOT want to leave....

  2. I remember reading about Cedar Point in elementary school and deciding I NEEDED to go there someday. Except it hasn't happened yet. It's still on my to-do list though, so hopefully eventually it'll happen!
