Happy Wednesday,
we're halfway through the week!
Today, I'm linking up with Ashley
from Words About
Waverly and Jess from Sadie Sky
Boutique for "It's the Little
Things."
First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who entered the giveaway last week; Slightly Sophisticated was honored to have the chance to be featured on this wonderful link-up, and we hope you all enjoyed our shop! Congrats to Shannon, she's the winner of this super cute mint and turquoise necklace and earring set! I hope she likes it as much as I do!
Bath time is one of my favorite times of day. No, not because it means T is finally going to bed, and we can have some adult time or relax on the couch, although I'd by lying if I said some nights, I can't wait for her to go to bed. (Does that make me a bad momma!? I hope not!)
I love bath time because T LOVES bath time! For Christmas, we got her her own pink loofa and some color tablets for the water, and since then, every night when you ask "what color are we going to make the water tonight?" she marches (literally) right to the stairs and goes up. She's even starting undressing herself and putting her clothes in her hamper. It's so cute. Throw some some bath paints, bubbles, bath crayons, and squirt toys in the tub along with the colored water and her "oofa", and she's good to go for hours.
Lately, her favorite song to sing is the ABC's, and it seems she sings it best while in the tub. She is so smart; sometimes too smart for her own good. I love hearing her say and discover new things, and it seems to happen on a daily basis. I took this video the other night during bath time of her singing the ABC's. I laugh every time I watch it.
I am so proud of her, and every time I think she's amazed me to no end, she goes and does something else new. Never a dull moment, but I love every minute!
Love her signing in the tub!! So cute!!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! She is so cute! Her little voice! I'm so excited to hear Aria's voice one of these days - beyond mama and dada. Bath time is our favourite time. Aria signs bath all day long, no not yet babe! Sometimes we do a spontaneous middle of the day shower though. I look forward to bed time every day whether it has been a long day or not, it is just nice to be able to sit still for more than 2 seconds and have adult time. Doesn't make you a bad momma =)
ReplyDeleteNoooooo, definitely not a bad momma! Even though we love our babes, we still NEED that time with our hubs. Or time to unwind ourselves :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest video! Just another reason why we love bath time so much as well :)
